I think you might see the nose in the GoPro footage.
What I like about this plane is this:
• Camera is protected underneath the dome (no rain, dust, sand etc.)
• More streamlined than most other FPV planes because there's less FPV bits sticking out
• Handlaunch or take-off, and landing on smooth or rough surface
• Option for belly cam (handy for HD cam doing recording for land surveys, or search and rescue)
• Tons of space
• No need for modifications, it was made with FPV in mind
• Fairly cheap
• RMRC sells spare airplane parts
• Can carry up to 5000mAh easily
• Good glide capabilities
• Very stable, difficult to stall
• Can fly very slow if you want
• EPO foam is easy to fix
I just have two concerns. How does it handle wind, and will the video Tx and ESC stay cool enough closed up like that?
I think I've already made up my mind on this one.
