Had our Sony CX730 for a while now and for general aerial video work it's as Gareth stated, the ultimate camera for aerial video. The stabiliztion is just insane, and with a very smooth gimbal (AV200 + skyline) it's just perfect, no need for post stab at all. The bitrate is 28mbs, which is great for most jobs, and tv, but the commercial guys need much higher than that, which is where RED Epics and the like come in, it's not just about resolution, but color sampling, and bit rate. We are busy setting up SteadiDrone agencies with two companies, one in Cape Town and one in London, who use RED's for films and commecrials, so we will soon be pposting some 4k aerial video :)

As for our experience with the Sony Cx760, it's simply amazing.
