2 questions

1. Do you need a mobile router to connect the x6 to a smartphone???

2. Can you only connect the fc to the pc via serial? (obviously with a rs232-usb converter)

Hi Gareth

Don't know why I have not seen this post.

You do not need a router to connect to your smartphone and yes you can connect the Auto Pilot to your PC via serial.

For those who are not happy about using the 900Mhz data link because of the legality of using it in your country, have a look at my website, where there is a link to a way of using a 433Mhz 3DR radio set. Works brilliantly. Just got it finished enough to test and I am happy with it.

A ZeroUAV YS-X6-p has just been released.

The ZeroUAV YS-X6-P is the latest release and has the following additional features. Just arrived 6 Feb 2013

1 Using a new generation of accelerometers.
2 improved internal damping structure providing a better damping effect.
The result is a greatly improved flight control giving improved reliability and shock resistance. Ensuring the user has a more stable and a safer handling experience.

We now have the YS-X6-P in Stock and the first lot of YS-X6's sent back to China for upgrades are on there way back.
