I just set up the YS-X6-P on my reconfigured Vulcan 650 Hexa in X ...... and this system is just perfect.

Before it was good, but now it just sits in position. It actually does not move. Okay there was no wind, but I could not believe how accurate it was. I used stock settings.

Initially I had a problem with it wanting to tip over, but redoing the Throttle calibration sorted that out.

I am using the following setup:
Motors: MT2814-11
RC tiger 30A ESC
APC 11x4.7 props
5000mAh Battery 3S
Not carrying any payload so total weight is 2556g
Calculated flying time was 8.2min and I got about 7min, but that consisted of multiple taking off and landing while checking the setting up, so I am happy. With a gopro and 2x5000mAh batteries I should get a calculated 13.1 min

All I can say is if you guys want to upgrade to the -P version, it is well worth it.

This new GCS has some added features that I am still trying to understand, but it looks good.

Cheers
Rob

Hi All, I see this forum is a little dead, so I hope someone will answer.
I have both the Ys X6 and Ys X4 flight controllers. Both are great and fly well out the box. I have the X4 on a 690 Hex X and the X6 is on a 960 Hex X.
The aircraft have been standing for quite a while now, So ive dusted them off and done all the changes I wanted doing and getting them going again. The issue I did have before and now again that I did a test flight, is the Yaw response. Its very slow to react to control inputs. What settings do I need to adjust and where? The user manual is a bit vague and so is the app.
Secondly, I have been to the Zerotech website, and I see there is only one app for the x4 and nothing for the X6. last time I used it, there was one app for each controller. Can anyone shed a little light on this.
Thanks everyone. Safe Flying!
